This group is not for politics, unless you are discussing legislation related to the practice of law.
1. Judge Policy: To prevent possible ethics violations, including ex-parte conversations, presently sitting Justices, Judges, Associate Judges, and Magistrates are not eligible for membership. Municipal Judges may be admitted in some instances.
2. Not Legal Advice: Nothing that is posted in this group should be considered, construed as, or depended upon, as legal advice. No discussion in these forums creates an attorney-client relationship. We are all licensed lawyers. By posting or reading the contents of this group’s posts, you agree to independently verify the accuracy of any answer for yourself, before depending on it. This group is a resource only and should not be the sole basis of any attorney's legal decision or legal advice given to any client. This group is not a substitute for legal research tools.
3. Deletion Policy: Please remember we are all professionals and endeavor to treat each other with civility and respect. While we strive to maintain an environment where posters can express their opinions freely, some posts or comments may be removed without notice in the discretion of any Administrator. The following types of posts or comments violate this group’s guidelines and may be removed at the discretion of an Admin:
a. Duplicative, offensive, personal attacks, name calling, or harassing posts;
b. Spam or other posts of a commercial nature (including advertising legal services, soliciting referrals, promoting a business or a non-profit);
c. Introductory, advertising, or self-promotional posts; and
d. Requests for yourself or other attorneys for endorsements, reviews, employment, referrals, or business.
4. No Screenshots Permitted: Members agree that they may NOT take screenshots or otherwise share any member's post for ANY purpose, including for use in other groups, in court filings, or any other reason.
5. What is said in this group stays here no matter what. You will be removed for violating this rule.
6. No member may block any of the Admins, you will be removed.
